Cee Kay celebrates 60 years
Cee Kay Supply Inc, a locally owned gas and welding distributor, with eight locations in Missouri and Illinois, will be celebrating its 60th year anniversary in 2008 and in celebration of this has developed a plan to give back to the community.
The plan is to donate a total of $60,000, in increments of $5,000 per month, to twelve local charities throughout 2008. Suggestions from management and employees will assist in determining the organizations the company donates to each month.
For January 2008, the decision was made to donate $5,000 to The BackStoppers. The BackStoppers provides needed support and financial assistance to the spouses and children of all local and county police officers, fire-fighters, publicly-funded paramedics, EMTs and volunteer fire protection units, who have lost their lives performing their duty. The donation was recommended by Kevin Kimker – Fill Plant Manager for Cee Kay Supply Inc.For February 2008, the decision was made to donate $5,000 to The Habitat for Humanity, while for March and April the Nurses for Newborns and Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) were chosen respectively.

National Cylinder Gas Company, a manufacturer of gases and welding equipment.
The company was founded by Ralph Chase and Ralph Knight. Cee Kay has distributed welding equipment from equipment manufacturers such as Miller, Lincoln, Hypertherm, and Thermadyne Holdings Corporation, to name a few.
